Product Introduction

The Keyence IV3-600MA belongs to the IV3 Series of AI-powered vision sensors. It pairs a monochrome CMOS image sensor with built-in AI tools for industrial inspection. The unit supports 65 tools and two operating modes: Standard mode and Sorting mode. Furthermore, it communicates through EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and TCP/IP protocols.

This sensor works at installation distances from 50 mm to 3000 mm. At 50 mm, the field of view measures 51 x 38 mm. At 3000 mm, it expands to 2730 x 2044 mm. The IV3-600MA also includes infrared LED illumination with pulse lighting. As a result, it performs well in low-light or invisible-light inspection setups.

Installation Guide

First, select a mounting position that respects the 50 mm minimum distance. Next, secure the IV3-600MA using the appropriate bracket. Then, connect the M12 Ethernet cable to the X-code female port. After that, wire the power and I/O through the M12 12-pin A-code male connector.

Meanwhile, confirm that the supply voltage stays within 24 VDC tolerance. Besides, keep the sensor away from excessive vibration and shock. For IP67 protection, ensure all caps and connectors are tight. Finally, configure the focus and exposure through the Keyence software interface.
