Honeywell TC-FOR081 Relay Digital Output Module
Product Introduction
The Honeywell TC-FOR081 provides eight independent relay outputs for your automation system. Each output uses a Form A (normally open) electromechanical relay. Moreover, every channel is fully isolated from the others. This design makes the TC-FOR081 ideal for switching mixed voltage loads. You can control ac and dc devices on the same module without interference.
Additionally, this module handles demanding applications. It switches resistive loads up to 240V ac at 2A. It also supports inductive loads with high inrush current up to 15A. The TC-FOR081 mounts easily on a DIN rail. Eight yellow status indicators show the logic state of each channel.

Installation Guidelines
Follow these steps to install the TC-FOR081 correctly.
First, mount the module on a standard DIN rail. Push it firmly until the clip locks. Next, connect external 24V dc power within the 19.2-31.2V range. Meanwhile, ensure the fused terminal base has the correct 3.0A Littelfuse 239003 installed.
For wiring loads, use 12-gauge stranded wire. Strip the insulation to 1.2mm maximum. Also, verify the load voltage and current do not exceed the relay’s rating. For inductive loads, always add a snubber or suppression device. Finally, check the yellow LEDs after power-up. Each LED lights when its corresponding relay is energized by the logic.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Can the TC-FOR081 switch both ac and dc loads on different channels?
Yes. Each relay is fully isolated. You can mix ac and dc loads across the eight channels without any problem.
2. Why does my output show 1mA leakage when OFF?
The leakage comes from the internal snubber circuit. This snubber protects the relay contacts. It is normal and safe for most loads.
3. What fuse should I use with the Honeywell TC-FOR081?
Use a 3.0A Littelfuse 239003 per channel. The module has no internal fuses. You must provide external fusing through the terminal base.
4. How fast can the relays switch repeatedly?
The maximum switching frequency is one operation every 3 seconds (0.3Hz) at rated load. Slower switching extends relay life.
5. Which shipping carriers do you offer?
We ship using Fedex, UPS, and DHL. Tracking information is provided after dispatch.
